  1. I’ve heard tales of his skipping and mocking Lame Time. Pointing the way. Seen artifacts that hint that he is the coming Point God. I pray the prophesy is true.

    Hali from outside-

    *Lisan al Hali!*

  2. I had high hopes for Hali. It seems the league has figured him out already, plus he doesn’t have a killer instinct.

  3. Doomers out in full force today sheesh. I get it wasn’t a great game 1 for us, but remember it was a first career playoff game for a lot of the players. Patience will pay dividends here.

  4. I’d like to forget that Game 1 ever happened.

That was a monumentally bad game by Tyrese, and the entire team for that matter (Minus Spicy).

I’d love for the shots to go in, obviously. That said, I’d just like to see Ty shoot the damn thing. He has times that he’s so passive it’s sickening to watch. He’s just too good of a player to act scared to shoot half the time.

  5. Yes, he had a bad shooting night. It happens. My concern is how o e dimensional his game has become. He was a really good slasher early this year (with buddy spreading the defense), he was shooting mid range jumpers, and was dishing inside. He literally seems to be avoiding going inside the perimeter for ANY reason. He’s just so predictable now.

I love him, and really love he is a Pacer, but he’s got to be more fearless & get back to having fun. Also, I really hope he stays away from social media, because it’s NOT safe for him right now. 😂

  6. Hali needs to focus on building strength in the offseason. He needs to be able to get to the rim more effectively in order to open up his jump shot. Right now he’s unable to impose his will on the game in any meaningful way. And I get he wants to play in the flow of things – but he got off the ball FAST in game 1, and pascal needs someone to help take the heat off him.

Building strength will help open up his inside-out game and hopefully allow him to put up more resistance on defense. He’s not a small guy – good height, decent wingspan. But he’s slight, and he can get pushed around on both ends. Not a good trait for playoff basketball. He’s young, he’s inexperienced, he’s gonna get better. Hoping for a more aggressive showing in game 2

  7. Geez guys , you don’t need to roast Ty like that. At least , let the whole series play out first instead of reacting to 1 game.

  8. As frustrated as I am about his lack of shooting and with everybody piling on, I have to say this. He was finding open looks all night and he should’ve had like 15 assists last night. His court awareness and ability to create open looks for his teammates is 2nd to none. I truly believe he’s the best in the league at that. A few of those open shots go in and the entire tempo of that game changes.

He’ll figure it out. This is great experience for him and the entire team too. This Bucks team was an NBA champion just a few years ago and Dame is an all time great shooter. The team needed a little humbling with the whole media predicting them to win this series. Nothing is given in this game. Gotta take it.
