Varland’s posted a 9.18 ERA over his first 4 starts.
Always felt like he was more of a bullpen guy. Not sure what he did in spring training to earn a rotation spot either other than us losing Sonny and Kenta
Dude had no business in the rotation to begin with. Unfortunately, it really shouldn’t be surprising that the rotation sucks when the team went into the season with only one or two quality starters and a bunch of other projects.
Dude was lights out in the bullpen. God awful as a starter. Think the #s speak for themselves at this point
Cant do any worse putting SWR as the 5th. Varland can be a bullpen guy
