Most players are so accustomed to just standing around at the 3 point line and letting the stars do everything, and most players are used to guarding that as well. We catch a lot of teams by simply playing real basketball.

I remembered Knicks-Mavs ‘04 – Knicks down 6, Marbury hit a three, steals the inbounds, zips it to Penny who then zips it to Houston for another three to tie the game…incredible sequence but we wound up losing. Today, for this type of sequence to happen with the stakes this high and winning to keep home court advantage, it’s unbelievable.

Then they want the timeout call by Nurse but if you look you can see he doesn’t call the timeout until just after Maxey loses the ball. The refs actually nailed the ending sequence even tho they were shit during most of the game.
