Mark Stone finished second in TOI among forwards for Vegas. You know, just breaking back into game shape. No way he was ready to play in an NHL game last week. Just made the cut, warming up, revving up.

  1. I don’t think the Vegas fans here understand.

Its like taking enhancements or caffeine before a foot race. Nobody else is doing it as much as you are. That much over the cap is insane, and no way are you going to be able to keep all those players.

I’m also not crying here, I’m just putting it into a different perspective for you guys. Like it or not, everybody else considers it cheating or having an unfair advantage, everybody is tired of it.

  2. I hope they do get career ending injuries on their best players. Or end up getting huge cap recapture penalties in some way in the future. To even this out

  3. He’s an all or nothing kinda guy! Either full body cast or tip top shape. It all started with an evil wizards curse when he was 8…

Serious: in some fairness he’s the only one without a hit

    Still ridiculous naturally

  4. So it’s technically legal right? And everyone knows about it? That’s fuckin wild.

  5. It was so annoying listening to the broadcasters talk about how his conditioning was in question every few minutes. We all know he’s been skating for weeks. Stop trying to play down what we all know happened. The guys they stashed away over the cap for the playoffs played huge minutes and a huge role in the win.

  6. How many posts are there going to be about this? Vegas is smart and taking advantage of the system. Any other team could do this. I really doubt people would be so upset if their team was doing the same thing.

  7. Bruh who cares. There’s no leg to stand on. It’s perfectly legal and the like.

    Theres no issue here

  8. Mark Stone looks like a clown with that nose and hair. Love to see the hate ramp up across the board, everywhere. Must keep it up. Great work all.

When the casino working fans return home from a shift at the MGM Grand or Bellagio, they need to be put in their place.

  9. Wouldn’t an easy solution to this be to adjust the rule slightly, that unless you’re on an ELC or two-way contract you must be on the active roster at seasons end?

And/or similar to baseball have a roster per series. If you weren’t active prior to the seasons end then you can’t play in the first series. It could still be circumvented but would make it more difficult.

And/or like the nfl have rules for the LTIR cap relief that you have to be out for the season and limit the amount of players designated to return from LTIR so if they actually will be back they have to eat up cap space.
