One year ago today. Pointer took that hit into the boards and the rest of the line didn't hesitate to come to his defense. Stammer took it to Matthews–in what was and still is Matthews only fight during his time in the league. Moments like these are what make me love Stammer. Also, love Kuch jumping on Reilly immediately after the Point hit. These guys have skill but aren't afraid to get nasty
Also, I loved how the media used the Bolts as an example of the right response to a greasy hit when ripping the Leafs for failing to defend Liljegren after Brad the Rat Marchand laid the wood on him.
