Those new uniforms AND Zach Wilson on the same day. What a day to be a part of broncos country
I didn’t watch, but how could this be the worst trade when all you’re giving up is a 6th round pick and 2.75mil? You’re getting a young 2nd round pick QB with raw talent… You gave all that money to an “offensive guru” right? So here is where he can earn that money and prove his reputation. This is a great project for them if nothing else.
So happy he is not our problem anymore.
Hes gonna start and with Payton out there… who knows. I’m glad the kid is getting a fresh start in a city with wayyyyy less media toxicity. 0 expectations on that team, especially in a division like the AFC West. It’s the best case scenario for him.

He’s going to a place where the coach has an actual fucking clue how to run a NFL offense, which has been an alien concept in New York.
It was time to move on and it benefits both teams. Jets get cap relief and some draft ammo they can use to shore up depth in an all-in season, and the Broncos get a QB reclamation project with elite physical traits for peanuts in a rebuilding year.
Zach cleaned up his short game last season and had his two best career games against KC and the Texans. I won’t be shocked if he develops into a low-end starter behind an OL which isn’t bottom 10 and with a decent offensive coach like Payton.

I guess we’ll see if Zach Wilson is decent or not with a better coaching. I kind think he might show a better performance, but for sure he is damaged goods. Frankly, I’m betting on the LOLJETS parade for sure if there is even one decent pass in a game, cuz…
Kudos to JD for getting a return for ZW and getting some small cap relief as well!
