Portland won’t pass on Sarr, either. Especially for a small combo guard. They have Simons, Sharpe, Brogdon, and Scoot on the roster and you have them using #4 for Reed? Not a chance.
I’m not high on Sarr at all compared to consensus. I think his anticipation, reaction time, and motor are all mediocre at best, and he projects as a good-but-not-great defender, while his offense is really bad outside the far-from-guaranteed chance he shoots.
He’s also really redundant with Wemby. Just feels like a waste of resources to me, and I’d rather take a chance on someone like Stephon Castle or something in this situation.
