Thank god now we dont need to force a QB in the first round
I just expect all these vets we pick up to blow up in our faces. we have quite the record going.

I don’t expect anything coming from this trade.
I know I’m probably the only one but I really like the pick up.
If he does have the first round talent that saw him drafted Payton will find it and If he does there may be some player there, he’s certainly young enough to figure it out still.
On the more realistic chance that he’s nothing special then we can either move on like you would any other under performing back up, or Payton can choose to develop him into a competent back up.
And on top of all of this we don’t have to force a QB in the draft, we can let things fall as they do and whether it’s McCarthy, Nix, Pratt or whoever else we don’t need to panic and reach for them.
I expect only the worst most utterly idiotic moves from this organization, so not only are they completely bought into Zach Wilson, they’ll extend him before the season begins.
