While the #Commanders and #Patriots have received calls from teams attempting to move up for a QB, Washington has shown no indication it would move, per me and @MikeGarafolo. New England would move for the right offer, but the Pats just haven’t gotten such an offer yet.

  1. Look it’s clear they’re only moving for a ridiculous offer. This is the right approach. If a team wants to get stupid let them, but I have a feeling this is code for the Pats not planning to trade down because I’m sure what they’re asking for is ridiculous.

For example, if the Vikings start throwing players and picks at them I get the idea of moving down. Imagine grabbing 3 firsts, maybe another future pick and the LT or Addison or something? Would be such a dumb move for the Vikings and I like Maye/Daniels.

  2. Great so advertising to the world we want a trade and don’t like the QB’s. Very cool. Fuck this franchise and Jonathan Kraft. Why not just take Marvin if you don’t like them?

  3. Kraft somehow not realizing how little interest there will be for the patriots if he trades down.

0 stars 0 blue chip players to excite fans or get nationally televised games. Trading down means punting the season in April. Get used to empty seats in January Robert!

  4. I don’t think any trades are considered until the Commanders make their pick. If they go rogue and pick JJ, shit will hit the fan. Otherwise, the Pats aren’t going to consider anything until they are on the clock and know what they have.

  5. MIN has to get silly if they want to trade with us.

But I would genuinely not be displeased if we came away from the draft with something like 11/13 and Darrisaw. LT solved, pick up Penix and like a Brock Bowers or a good late-1st WR… not too shabby

  6. Only trading it for 4 firsts. The pats can play hard ball here because they need a QB just as much as these other teams do.

  7. I think we’re gonna pick. Minnesota would have to offer us something ridiculous to get us to move and I don’t think that’s happening.

  8. The only way I see us moving down is either a MEGA offer, or a 3 way trade with another team in the top 5.

  9. Any chance we land Jordan Addison, pick #11, plus more for pick #3? Feel like that would be a no brainer.

  10. yea because other teams know that drake maye isnt worth a ridiculous offer

pats should pay attention to this

  11. I wonder what kind of contingencies the team has made with certain teams. Have Mayo/Wolfe reached out and told 1 team “if we have Maye at 3, you can offer us XYZ.” And told another team “if we have Daniels at 3, you can offer us ABC.”?

  12. its been

    1. Williams
    2. Daniels
    3. Maye

since december, but they need 4 months worth of clicks

  13. This is 100% the right way to handle this. When you have an asset as valuable as the third pick, why wouldn’t you at least see what other teams are willing to pay? Maybe you’ll get somebody to totally overpay. But in all likelihood we’ll keep the pick and get a good QB.

  14. Jonathan Kraft literally went to Foxboro to make sure Wolf doesn’t trade down
