  1. Highlights:

    * Said having one consistent voice is huge.
    * Bryce was excited to hear specifics of what he saw on tape last year when he talked with Canales.
    * Bryce evaded the pressure when asked how last year’s bad interior line affected his play.
    * Says there’s a different juice, a different vibe with Canales running the show.
    * Says Diontae Johnson is competitive which makes him strive for protection. Talked about how DJ talks with him about getting the timing right and striving for perfection.
    * Said multiple times that “everyone is aligned”, meaning the coaches and how they deal with the players.
    * In the off-season Bryce has been working on studying the new playbook, working on the new timing, working on footwork and reads, and working on getting reps with the guys.
    * Said a piece of advice he got before the draft last season that ended up being really helpful was to hold yourself accountable about doing your job and doing the small things before holding others accountable.
    * Asked about whether he’s worked on the new timing (which according to my notes he’s already answered) and he said yes and it feels good.
    * Told a story about Canales asking him a detail oriented question about why he changed a certain play his senior year at Alabama and how that stuck with him because, yeah, he did have a reason for doing that (which you could tell he was pretty proud about). He was impressed that Canales put in the work to be able to ask the question even though it was very unlikely the Bucs would get the opportunity to draft him. Game recognize game.
