Last night’s 7-0 Phillies win is the 369th straight game Nick Castellanos has played without committing an error. That ties the National League record for a position player, set by Darren Lewis in 1991-94. The MLB record is 440 (Robbie Grossman in 2018-22).

  1. Nick:Can’t commit errors if ball drops before you have chance to catch it *undoes top button*

  2. Errors are definitely an incomplete stat for outfielders, but this is a pretty funny record regardless lol.

  3. This rocks, I want him to break the MLB record too. I hope somewhere deep in Cooperstown they have to update a plaque when he does it.

  4. I know he isn’t great out there and has no range and errors are one stat, but that is still pretty impressive regardless. We’re talking an all time record lol
