Penn State’s Adisa Isaac Draws Inspiration from his Mother and Nonverbal Siblings | NFL 360

my passion is definitely playing
football my purpose is my family I have
two older brothers and one little sister
well all three of my siblings are
special needs so they can’t you know
verbally speak back to you just you know
the motivation and the inspiration they
give me that is sniffed out and blown up
by Adisa Isaac feel like everything that
I do is you know for them they just love
the fact that they are part of him I
just want to use my god-given talents
and you know make the most of it to make
them
proud and who’s
thisa yeah tell them get it right that’s
you you ever seen this one they point to
everything yeah you ever seen this and
make certain noises that they really
mean it or like they really you know
remember something that they trying to
show you
T look at this Asha who’s this one what
people assume about my life is that it’s
hard it’s hard if you make it hard but
if you do it with the
love and the acceptance of what it
is it makes it easier
I wanted them to have a normal
life and as much
as normal as I can make it for
them youell you got one
two my children were given to
me to
race to be their mother
their
friend and to show them the love that
they
need look at
that thank
you that’s how I stay so strong
I have to stay that
strong cuz if I
don’t who will be strong for
them basically if you see me you see
them you know I’m a reflection of them
so um yeah I mean I feel like everything
that I do is you know for them
I just really want to hit my potential
and you know be a great player in this
league for you know a long time um so
you know I try to keep a strong head and
just you know kind of just think back to
you know just all the values and stuff
that I learned growing up but just you
know how to you know maneuver through
you know the traffic of New
York at a young age I was always in
either tap dancing choir
wrestling
basketball he wanted to do PE football
but it wasn’t the right time you knows
there really a lot at home just to get
my siblings to in front places so I
ended up waiting till um my freshman
year of high
school when I first met him there was
this lanky tall 13-year-old kid who’s
never played football before so I called
him over to me I was like ad diesa let
me see you getting a three-point stance
and when he got out of his stance it was
just something about the way it
looked my first game I had like 15
tackles like three sacks and I didn’t
know nothing about the sport my
assistant coaches and I said we got a
special one on our hands here and the
rest is history in the
making probably after sophomore you know
junior year you know I knew that you
know I can kind of go somewhere with
this and I had you know probably around
35 offers a lot of options you know to
go where I wanted to go
why ala ended up at Penn State is
because it was close enough for us to
get to his games to support him my mom
you know she doesn’t miss a game I know
every time I make a play they say my
name and they’re going to recognize
that and you know get up or make noise
or you know hollering for me I know that
I’m doing something good and I’m able to
you know make them proud that is sniffed
out and blown up by Adisa Isaac it meant
the world to them to wear that
sweatshirt his number they just love the
fact that they are part of
Hima Isaac who we’ll see go more than
likely in the first two rounds is a LED
Penn State in tfl very very athletic
very explosive he’s bigger he’s taller
he’s
long I just want to truly just take all
the financial struggles and stresses
away from
her feel like I’m you know I’m in depth
for her
forever items and material things can
never repay
that what I be thinking when his name
called on draft day
is all your dedication come here
here all your
hours getting up
early staying up late doing your
work going to school every
day dedicating your life to this
moment and really seeing all your hard
work paid off
my passion is definitely playing
football my purpose is my family to the
park to the park we
go give me something give me some almost
almost say what’s up show me your
muscles just you know the motivation and
the the inspiration they give me it’s a
good one wherever I go I I ultimately
wanted my family to come with me
remember that one oh there we go yeah my
favorite one you remember that one you
remember that he was on the sideline
too I just want to use my god-given
talents and you know make the most of it
to make them proud hug
