Not much to take away from this quote except that he doesn’t expect the team to be this bad under him.

Good god I don’t think I’ve ever been excited for a year of football in my life… the Chargers struck literal gold with this grouping of front office staff they put together and the hype they’ve built towards the draft and the offseason… combine that with us getting the new facility… my god…
This is a once in a rare opportunity to get Herbert a blue chip WR on a rookie contract.
