Looking at that juggernaut in the west this is the mentality to have. I love it but we can’t just say it gotta come out and show it. This is a huge game
I’m not gonna say Mazzulla is some genius Xs and Os adjustments master or anything like that, but the culture and identity he set for this team is undeniably incredible this year.
I’m glad we didn’t get Sixers or Hawks for this first round. Bulls would have been the easiest path imo, but the Heat are annoying bastards that the Celtics will respect as first round opponents. Even without their best player, which historically has been one of the worst types of teams for the Celtics to face.
Joe likely has them locked in for game 2, I’m excited.
It might be a blessing to get Miami in the first round. I believe in this team regardless but having Miami in the first round just means you really can’t fuck around. It’s good for them mentally.
They were coming off of 5games in a week. With 3 days rest, the heat will be a different beast. Don’t take them lightly. Snuff out all hope.
I don’t think there was ever any question if Miami would do something different. The question is what is Mazzulla got in the works to throw at Miami to make them react to us? He needs to go on the offensive and keep Miami on their heels.
