[Jonathan Jones] “The team I feel most comfortable won’t be picking where they currently sit are the Broncos. Have heard from multiple teams in the top 10 the Broncos have inquired about a trade-up. Have also heard from teams picking after 12 the Broncos have discussed an appetite for trading down.”

  1. They want to get their QB but if he’s already taken they aren’t gonna reach and will move down

  2. So we’re either going to move up, stand pat, or trade down? The draft can’t end soon enough for me…

  3. If they move up, I bet they want McCarthy. I would be supremely disappointed wasting capital to move up for him…

  4. I would rather we trade down at this point and be better set up next year. We’re gonna be bad anyway

  5. There is not really anyone that screams trade up and get.

However, if we can get our guy by moving back by sat 5-8 spots, why the hell wouldn’t we do that?

  6. We’re either doing something or we’re doing something. But we definitely can’t rule out doing something. Hopefully we do something though.

  7. Who is running this draft for the Broncos?

    Sonny Weaver Jr.??

Broncos are trading up…they’re trading down lol

  8. i’ve never had this feeling before, but holy shit, i want this draft to be done already. i dont even feel strongly one way or another. i am not going to sit here and pretend like i know the best move. but fuck. i am so done with the speculation. no more speculation. please. (there is going to be a lot more speculation)

  9. If Nix is the target we lose a lot of value if we don’t trade down first.  The only other team really looking for a QB that would be left in the first round would be the Raiders or possibly the Vikings.  Trading up only makes sense to me if it’s for one of the three Tier 1 qb prospects we aren’t flush with picks and we don’t have a second rounder.  If we stand at 12 Bowers or Murphy probably gives us BPA value.  Also, there is still a reasonable argument to draft a LT and trade Bolles (this is our last year of his current contract, he’s expensive and he might not want to extend).

  10. We should ask the Texans what they would do… and do that. They killed it in the draft last year

  11. Really? The broncos might trade up and the broncos might trade down? Shiver me timbers I would never have thought about those possiblities. What a stupid report.

  12. So, this says the Broncos may trade up or may trade down depending on the circumstances. This is brilliant journalism
