Love these guys. Here in Calgary we’ve got a public art sculpture near the river that has was adopted as an osprey nesting site for the the last 8 years. Which is good, because a few years earlier I watched a nest-building pair of them take turns trying to placing sticks on top of a electrical tower on the same island, and they didn’t get a single stick to stay up in the 15 minutes I watched them.
