I don't know what Schoen is going to do but for how good he has been on leaks this is interesting speculation

I’m confused. If they dont like JJ, why does that mean they’re all in on Maye?
i’d say nabers/odunze is most likely
No one has any clue and while it’s annoying, it’s a glorious feeling to know we are running a tight ship.

Hopefully it’ll be Alt, Harrison or McCarthy but with Schoen & Daboll’s shitty philosophy that probably won’t happen. Can’t wait for Schoen & Daboll to get fired at the end of the ‘24 season.
We’re drafting at WR at 6. If we trade up it’s for MHJ. Schoen and Daboll aren’t risking their careers on Maye or JJ being playoff caliber QBs in a year or two. The top 3 WRs are 1000yd candidates regardless of who’s at QB. It’s the obvious play imo*.

If they really want to move up and get Maye they have to be sure he’s the man
I could see them wanting Maye.
But if they wanted McCarthy, it makes sense to pretend they don’t so they don’t get jumped by a team like the Vikings or Raiders
In my perfect world we trade back, get the guard from Washington and additional draft capital and then somehow the Jags screw up negotiations and we get Trevor Lawrence next off season.
