[Breer]The Broncos quietly did a lot of work on Oregon QB Bo Nix—they had an hour-long Zoom with him on March 7, then sent a Sean Payton-led contingent to Eugene to work him out on March 18, per sources. So interest is there. Fit, too. But not having a 2nd-rounder could complicate it.

  1. For all we know, the first meeting ended with the staff thinking, “this guy’s a moron.” And they scheduled the second meeting to make sure and came away thinking, “wow, he really is an idiot; some team is gonna waste a couple of years finding out that you can’t fix stupid.”

  2. Who needs a second rounder when you can just trade down into the late first? Or worse yet, take him at 12?

  3. The work they did on him was SO QUIET… this is the first time I’m hearing us connected to him.
