Don’t let that nonsense get to you. It ain’t happening.
There’s no point getting upset about it. The Titans are the Oilers, it isn’t about the Adams’ being petty. The organizations are one and the same. McNair was drafted as an Oiler and he was the greatest Titans QB in franchise history. You never see the Ravens crying that they want to wear Colts colors, and you know why? Because the Ravens have a cool brand and have been a successful franchise. The “Texans” is quite possibly the dumbest team name in all sports, and they’ve never made it out of the divisional round. This is all they have to focus on. Let them cry, they will never be the Oilers and nothing rnfl or their sub says will ever change that.
The amount of non-Texans flairs in there falling over themselves to pile on the Titans in defense of a forgettable Texans franchise with no history, tradition, identity, or pedigree is mind boggling.
They can whine and pout all they want, but it won’t change the fact that the Titans and Oilers are one and the same. Of course the owner is gonna get pushback trying to sneak Oilers colors onto the new uniforms because it’s associated with a whole other organization and football team, the Titans.
Meh. I personally think you have an obligation to be as petty as humanly possible to a division rival. If they want to hate us for taking their team (and I have no problem with that, I probably would too), they have to deal with getting hate and pettiness back. Stupid petty shit like this makes sports great. Like can you imagine if Michigan and Ohio State ever didn’t actively try to piss the other one off? If my school ever didn’t tell our rivals to fuck themselves when given the chance, I would be very disappointed in them.

I think the whole argument is stupid. We own the Oilers but the Texans can use a shade of blue if they want.
The amusing part is that the Texans having one decent season sways their favor so hard. Can’t wait till the shitheads come back down to earth. Remind me a lot of Jacksonville fans a season/2 ago.
Emotional responses, folks. They don’t care about copyright law, running a business, etc.
Also, the Titans have been an easy target since our inception. People love to pile on this team.
