Just made this real quick. Thoughts and adjustments? I know picks will probably need to be included also but feel like this framework for a trade could work.

  1. They are not giving up Herb Jones. He’s probably the best 3 and D large wing player in the league. You can probably get Ingram since he and Zion don’t play well together, and they could use Murray. But Ingram isn’t a great defender and wouldn’t improve the team that much imo. He’s best suited to play point forward at the 4 imo.

Basically remove Herb and Hunter from the trade. They don’t need Hunter, they’re loaded at wing and Hunter underperforms his contract. It would be a decent return for Murray even if the fit isn’t perfect.

  2. Tbh I don’t want Ingram. I rather try to get Herb Jones/Murphy/Daniels/Alvarado especially if we give up Trae or DJ…I would be down for adding Bogi and Clint too.

  3. The delusion you smoking is crazy, thinking your getting Herb Jones AND Brandon Ingram.

  4. You know this isn’t a Nick Ressler trade because we’re sending low value and expecting high value in return.

  5. Unfortunately for us, the Pels have a negative ten trillion percent chance of doing this

  6. While I do think Ingram is more available than some might think, I don’t think a deal is getting done with NOP without Okongwu either. They need a C and want to pair OO17 with Zion.

Having said that, idk about the fit with Ingram between Jalen and Trae. I want Jalen to have the ball over Ingram. Might be fine considering that we can expect Ingram to miss 20 games.
