1. Brooklyn easily says no. They’ve asked for 4 picks for bridges, they seem content keeping him until they get what they want, they know they can get a star.
2. Not sure why either team does this. Keldon and sexton kinda provide the exact same moves. This trade is super linear on both sides, it basically leaves them both in the same scenario. Also, both picks don’t even need to be involved.
3. I get Portland has a ton of guards but why would they settle for 1 pick? They know what they have with Simons and he’s young, a 20+ ppg scorer and hovers around 40% from 3. They can get a lot more.
Bit of an over pay for simons, no way they send us garland for that.
