He was so good at scoring in regulation that he never needed to in the first place
It’s crazy how old he looks there. Straight grandpa murdering the league.
No regular season OT during his playing days.
He also only got 1 “Gordie Howe hat trick”
Gretzky took the puck away from him at an all-star game, and kind of acted like hot shit. Howe slashed him on the wrist and said “don’t ever do that again kid”. Gretzky has often said that he thought Howe was better than him.

I play a game called stratomatic hockey. Gordie howes card has max intimidation rating of 1-15. Basically he hits everything on the ice
