Brett Pesce, who suffered a non-contact injury turning up the ice in his own end during Game 2 — officially “lower body” — is likely to miss the rest of this series, per source. Timeframe beyond that still unclear, looks like a couple weeks at the least.

  1. Avoided the worst, this is great news tbh. Classic Rod “he’s dying” presser that ends up 2-3 weeks

  2. How are we going to get through the rest of this series without his physicality???

  3. Will be interesting moving forward.

Gotta expect Tony but, also have Cogs and Morrow.

  4. How many non-contact injuries happen in other arenas? I was hoping after Svech and Patches last year, they’d realize that ice maintenance is hugely important to prevent this…

  5. Give Tony the chance and then Dylan. Morrow shouldn’t be thrown into the fire in the playoffs he wasn’t very good defensively at all against Columbus

  6. I’m confident in our depth while he recovers tbh. Does anyone know if Ty smith could be an option? I believe he’s been in the ahl since the trade with Pittsburgh. Im fine with deangelo or coghlan though.
