Obviously cost here would be significantly lower than Aiyuk (or at least it should be). He’d come over with a cap hit this year and next year at ~$13M.
If he didn’t cost much to acquire then sure otherwise I think he’s kinda overrated.
I’ve always liked Sutton. Would be cheaper than aiyuk too. Pickens + Sutton isn’t elite but I’d be content with it

This is nonsense. The broncos aren’t going to trade their only WR unless the offer is a haul… And no GM is going to be giving up real picks for a decent WR2
At this point they should just draft one on day two. If they bring in a top level talent or draft one in the first round it will piss off Pickens and he will be a whiney baby the whole season so just draft one to avoid that mess. It’s a deep draft at that position and we have a track record of finding quality receivers in the later rounds.
If jeudy went for a 5th + 6th, Sutton should be pennies

Unless it’s for free, or blocking purposes only, please fucking NO. Unfortunately, the Browns already acquired the only Broncos receiver worth anything. Sutton is an injury prone, less than average wideout.

I’d take him for a 6th or a pick next year. He’d be a great #2 behind Pickens. I’d still draft someone later to develop too p
A very average WR2, but great culture and scheme fit. Huge upgrade over what we have now opposite of Pickens.
Imo this bolsters the rumors of a R1 pick swap with DEN for the CB from Toledo. Sutton + 12 for 20 + R3 and ??
Courtland Sutton is the best receiver in the Gabe Davis tier of receivers. Hard pass unless it’s for Russell Wilson-esque compensation.
Get Lockett and Sutton. Two people who have played with and succeeded with Wilson….

I’m a big fan of Sutton. Not only is he a great player but he also has played with Russ and they had some good chemistry. I’d almost like this more than a move for Aiyuk since we have our WR1 and Aiyuk will cost us a high pick and a lot of money.
