  1. Hoping he gets some actual burn in the lineup and is not just a “break in case of emergency” call up

  2. Isn’t this the same guy that blamed Davidi for stealing his source, then backtracked when he learned Davidi had conducted his own seperate interview of Tiedeman? Seems a bit rich to tweet something like this.

  3. KK to the IL most likely, super excited to see Barger overcome some adversity

  4. I love KK. But I love the offence with him out and Varsho in centre. Please save us Barger.

  5. So does this mean Biggio to outfield and Barger to cover second?

EDIT: Baseball reference didn’t list Barger as an outfielder but I see now he’s got some time in the OF. Still seems heavily a 3B player with 2/3 of his time there so far in Buffalo this season. But I expect some kind of shuffle to happen I guess.

  6. My only concern is that the Jays hitting staff is going to ruin whatever progress he’s made at Triple A

  7. ‘Pls credit’ made me lol.

Exciting move – interested to see what the kid can do!

  8. Cut to: 80’s training montage of Addison (in a sleeveless sweatshirt, short shorts, and a red white and blue sweatband) working out and then boarding a plane with the words “Kansas City Airlines” painted on the side, while Survivor sings a rock anthem about adversity.

  9. Varsho is basically an every inning if you want him guy so it’s probably not a huge concern but I guess IKF is the backup CF? I get the vibe they don’t want to play Springer there anymore.

  10. Would be great if he could be a serious offensive boost. Not sure what my expectations are or should be yet

  11. Is it pronounced like burger or badger?
I’ve heard both on minor league broadcasts.

Please go on a tear so we can call him HoneyBarger!

  12. Vladdy is now no longer the youngest Blue Jay on the active roster – Barger is eight months younger.

This gives the Jays six players who can play third base (seven if you count Vladdy).
