Is Vancouver going to be the new leafs if Toronto wins it all?
DeSmith could definitely be playing better tonight but the Canucks are gonna be fucked if they keep playing like this. Too many stupid mistakes and Petey needs to dial it in. They look more like the Canucklefucks than the Canucks that won the Pacific.
These highlights do not reflect the game, that makes it worse. Nashville’s had four chances all game and scored on three of them.
Canucks have dominated the play the rest of the game, but our top six just isn’t cutting it. We got gifted four power plays and did nothing but make awkward passes and poor zone entries with them.
Curious to see what the analytics say of this game, because Vancouver has been in the O-Zone most of the game and had so many scoring chances.
Saros definitely solid.
All these blocked shots are going to add up pretty quick for nashville..

Saw some comments yesterday how the preds were trash. Vancouver fans getting a little ahead of themselves!

I couldn’t believe they were chanting DeSmith so early in the game, like are they trying to mess with him? The first goal was kind of weak, but in general the Nucks need to score more than 1 goal to win.
Everyone will blame DeSmith but ignore Nashville’s incredible team defense that shut down Vancouver. Brunette finally learning to make adjustments
Such a weird game
Petey has 1 goal in his last 15. People flamed me on this sub for questioning him. The man is cheeks.
First goal Hughes trips and falls then Petey with the weak check and an insane deflection. Second goal Soucy shouldn’t have backed off Forsberg is too talented to have that much time. Third goal another bad play by Petey on another giveaway and then a poor attempt to check the guy at the net. Petey can’t hit the net and the fact your top paid star player is a huge liability with missed shots , giveaways and weak checking that’s not going to win you anything.
This is really their first rodeo and without Demko. Nashville has the players who have been in the playoffs before. Not really surprised.
Somebody needs to run some breakout drills in the morning

This was not the game. Canucks had 86 scoring chances to Nashville’s 26. We had a back up goalie in net. But predators were barely in our end last night. We just did not get any bounces. We will walk this team in the next 3 games.
Besides our shots getting blocked, we were so unlucky from all our shots
Good. I hope Nashville wins the next 3 and leaves the canucks fans crying in their cereal. Just because their fans are the worst. I’ve been to hockey games in every barn in Canada and nucks fans, hands down, are the worst. By a long shot.
