I like this. Sure he looked a little scrambly but most of the goals were from defensive breakdowns in front of him and not from him misplaying them.
I do not feel great about this, but if I was in charge we wouldn’t last as a team for one day

we took 4 penalties and allowed them to score on 3 of them! Take away that and we might have been in the game. GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR ASSES BOYS OR THIS SERIES IS DONE BY GAME 3.
I’m glad Talbot is starting. The goalie shouldn’t be held responsible for the team in front him playing poorly.
I’m fine with this. It’s too early to panick, but I hope we don’t get a repeat of last year. We should have played Copley that last game.

Not hitting the panic button yet, but if it’s another blow out, I fully expect to see Big Dick Dave starting game 3 in LA.
No shit, it wasn’t his fault the defense just stands around and allows Edmonton to do whatever they want.
I hated that every chance an Oilers had to get into the crease after a play or SON was met with no repercussions from anyone on the Kings. That needs to change this game, first period was bad in Game 1, finally seen #55 in the third protecting Cam but way too late! Maybe they were playing to avoid penalties but that really bugged me throughout the first two periods. They need to push back with extra circular activities when these guys push that narrative, made our boys look soft.
This is the same play that didn’t give Copley a chance to show himself in r1 last year… And a huge mistake…at LEAST give a fucking nod to the AHLers…
