  1. I know this topic should essentially be dead but it is hilarious how the McNairs have been talking nonstop about Tennessee and its fans, yet they had to get permission from AAS for those new uniforms.

  2. I wish the compromise had involved McNair and his wife going out and saying the Oilers history and uniforms all belong to the Titans because it’s the same franchise, and not to the city of Houston.

It’s such an absolutely infuriating argument.

  3. This isn’t that crazy. We are talking about a Team (us) who has a Intellectual property interest in not having a division rival have the exact same color scheme as us. I wouldnt think it was crazy or wrong at all if the Dolphins tried to step in and stop the jets from doing an alternate aqua and orange uniform.

  4. The Texans are so funny lol. “We don’t care about the titans” meanwhile I feel like the last month has just been their owner non stop one way talking shit on AAS.

  5. Should tell every Texans fan out there who really owns the oilers uni and it’s colours

  6. So TIRED of Texans ownership and fans pissing and moaning about the Oilers to Titans fans as if we had a damn thing to do with that move! We’re simply supporting the team we were given.

Houston leadership played hardball with Bud over a new stadium, and he called their bluff. But they can’t blame the city because the city turned right around and gave the McNair’s a big new stadium. So they’ll just blame Titans instead.

Sorry they all feel like they should still own all things Oilers. Crying shame the law doesn’t give a damn about their feelings. The Adams’ could rebrand the Titans the Oilers, make those throwback permanent, and there isn’t a damn thing ANYONE in Houston can do about it.

So my advice to them is just get over it already. Start a new tradition with Texans Blue!

Also, Houston almost lost the Astros for the exact same reason Bud moved the Oilers. But keep blaming the Titans, McNairs, no said you had to be smart to inherit a football team!

  7. IMHO the light blue would be a total non issue if in the alternates they went red heavy with it as an accent instead of dark blue using the light blue as a red accent.

  8. This is just getting sad at this point. Houston just needs to let it go. There’s a reason why we own the Oilers name and not them.

  9. Comprise? Fuck them Houston Texasroadhouse copycats…Their not the oilers and will never be!!! They always trying to dickride the oilers uni’s soo bad it’s laughable lmao

  10. Regardless of the history in Houston those new Uniforms look worse if they wanted to modernize the look they should have went with a more timeless color scheme with the blue like blue red and off white

  11. Hopefully part of that compromise included getting Houston folks to stop crying about it for a day.
