Cause his points/ Assists have dramatically gone up while keeping his efficiency
I understand other fans having gripes with Maxey winning the award over others but he literally went from a higher end role player last year to an emerging superstar.
He was in between being a starter or not last year. This year he is our second most important player and basically had to carry the team for 3 months. That is a huge jump.
Coby White went from an okay starter to a good starter. I wouldn’t mind if Coby the award but I don’t know if he was more deserving.
Either way the awards don’t really matter much in the whole scheme of things.
At least I hit on one of my bets from before the season.
I think this award was broken when Ja Morant won it.
