Do yankee fans even want a guy who is so soft that being booed would play into where they sign?
Did anyone actually hear significant boos? I haven’t seen the footage but I’ve heard a ton of takes on it. I remember in 2022 I was at the ALDS game 2 where they supposedly booed him, it was not loud. Problem is no one cheers a strikeout so the stadium goes quiet you’ll hear the 1000 guys booing. 2022 was overblown in my opinion, even the broadcast version, I’m curious to see this one

Being booed is a right of passage in NY. Piazza, Giambi, Lindor, Cole…I think Jeter and Rivera are the two major exceptions. Maybe D Wright as well.

I despise the Yanks however he is getting $40million a year, and they expect him to hit home runs, get rbi’s, get on base, etc. Idk if they already know by seasons end he will be 5th all-time in strikeouts in franchise history. Id boo him at games.
