A few weeks ago he had the Colts doubling up on defensive lineman in the first and second round, and I don’t know which of these options is worse.
Word of advice to analysts: If a team is inquiring about a player projected in the second round, they might be looking to take him in the SECOND ROUND. Also, if you think you have “intel” on the Colts, you don’t. This dude’s intel is “4.21 is fast. Colt likes fast.”

Literally just saw this today. My flabers were indeed gasted. A potentially sub top ten receiver at pick 15. I mean I like the guy too. And another speedster would be dope. But Ballard would be committing job sewer slide with this one dawg.
The kicker of it is not a single CB was selected before this in his mock.

Pierce has been out there getting open on go’s and posts for 2 years with no one to throw to him. Gotta give him a season with AR before investing a high pick in another WR.
Have you stopped to consider that people in and around the NFL are higher on players (Xavier Worthy for example) than the average redditor is? Just because you see a dude mocked to go day two does not mean NFL FOs feel the same
Worthy isnt going in the 2nd. He is going in the first round and is considered by a good amount of people to be the wr4/5 in this draft.
If you think Worthy is going in the second round, you’re doing too many PFF mock drafts.

Worthy would be the nightmare pick for me. He screams first round bust on a postion with the highest bust frequency.
Mock drafts are a total waste of time.
I don’t think Worthy is a top-15 pick, but he’s extremely likely to go first round. Literally the fastest 40 time the league has ever seen and a major contributor on a playoff squad.
Also, this is Chris “Tradeback” Ballard we’re talking about; we could easily move down and grab this guy.

Word of advice to people trying to advise analysts:
No team cares where a player is projected to be drafted. If he has a first round grade from the team, they’ll draft him in the first round and not think twice about it.
Was Shaq Leonard projected to be a 2nd rounder? Nope, sure didn’t stop Ballard from drafting him there.

Preferably we trade back to early 20s or so amd get him, but yeah, this wouldn’t be that bad.
In his mock, I’d rather have Thomas Jr if sticking at 15, but I’m a fan of Worthy as well.
Matt Ryan’s aging arm couldn’t get AP the ball. Minshew’s poor pocket awareness and arm kept him from getting it to AP as well. I’d like to see what happens when he’s paired with Richardson who definitely can get him the ball in addition to being able to buy time. I think the Colts can wait one more year before using that high of a pick on a WR
