the amount of copium and cognitive dissonance he’s exhibiting is so fucking delicious
i had to run and check his stats real quick, in case he was averaging 20 and 10 or something! but looks like he’s closer to 12 and 10. the 2+ bpg is nice. but not sure i’d “build around him”. and with mikal crashing back to earth, it truly is a dark time to be a nets fan. those draft picks are looking juicy!
He’s an important player but having a guy like Claxton when he doesn’t have a lot of scorers to play off really hurts his value to the team.

why they wanna just build a team of mid. mikal, claxton, and cam thomas the most average group of players together (not saying they’re bad, but just average for a core to BUILD around)
They dont own their picks and he’s their best prospect. They literally don’t have another choice right now because of how bad they messed up the Harden trade and the big 3 overall
