[Silver] If the 49ers stay at 31, they’ll consider the player highest on their board, at any position. All things being equal: I’d look to the secondary. They’re in win-now mode–it’s likely Purdy’s last year on a rookie contract–and they could land an immediate contributor there…

  1. I have been curious about what we would do if Cooper Dejean was on the board. He just feels like one of the gold helmet guys that Lynch talks about. Hell of a football player. I’d be really happy with the pick if it fell that way.

  2. Silver is really, really terrible.

I am now committing to never click his content.
He is a schmuck still living off being incredibly lucky in the 90s before failing to remain relevant.

  3. 24 hours from now barring OL which is what i think most 49ers fans are hoping the 49ers will target in the 1st round, these are the 4 players who i’d be shocked aren’t very high on the 49ers draft board and i could imagine 2 or 3 still being available at #31

    wiggins (CB)

    mckinstry (CB)

    c.robinson (edge)

    d.robinson (DT)

and knowing the 49ers history under shanahan and lynch since 2017 i think they’d lean towards a DL

i’d personally prefer the penn st edge over another interior DL

  4. Doesn’t Brock have another year left on the rookie contract after this upcoming one ?

  5. This would drive me crazy. It should be oline, no question. If this team is going to win it all, it will be because of offense and its ability to block and protect the qb.

  6. Call me unfaithful, call me dumb, call me whatever, but I can’t wait until the stupid narrative of “WIN NOW!!!” is over. Win Now has done nothing for us except make us extend a bunch of aging vets to big contracts, which in return, has stopped us from taking the time to develop rookies into starter/star quality players.

(2 SBs and 2 NFC Championships isnt nothing but not 1 trophy)

We have the 3rd oldest roster in the league. We need to start developing rookies or at least giving them time instead of dropping them 2 weeks into camp (I.E Lance, Latu, Womack, Sermon, TDP, Danny Gray).

They also need to stop fuckin around with high picks and drafting players that don’t fit their system or what they want. Idk what Kyle was thinking taking Sermon and TDP in back-to-back drafts in the 3rd round when they don’t naturally fit into what Kyle wants.

We can gear up for 1 more win now season but it shouldn’t be pushing all your chips into the center and going all out again. It should be calculated just like they did in Free Agency. We have to look toward the future of this team, in the new era of 49ers football. We have pushed this era to its limits and we are in *the danger* zone of falling off a cliff into purgatory.

Edit- I always love when you speak a little truth and 49er fans plug their ears and scream so they can’t hear you. You are so worried about falling back into the dark ages you are ignoring the fact we can’t continue to fail these drafts and just replace the failed picks with mega-deal stars. You guys are also ignoring that most of the core crop are old as hell and won’t be in the NFL in 5 years.

  7. Imo the drafts strengths seem to line up well with the 49ers needs so it could be a win win. This is the deepest draft I’ve seen at OT in recent memory

  8. Do I need to donate a testicle for them to jump on an OL pick early, cuz at this point, I’ll seriously consider it.

  9. I’m to where if they stick at 31 and don’t trade BA, Kool-Aid will be pick 31 and an RT in round 2.

  10. Purdy is on a rookie contract for this coming season and next…likely? Wtf are these dumbass articles on about
