  2. I wouldn’t be opposed to playing Barger in a strong-side platoon in RF for roughly 3-4 games a week, giving Springer an ample number of rest/DH days. The team’s defense would be objectively better with Barger in RF and Springer in LF to boot (given his arm strength).
    It’ll be interesting to monitor how Barger looks in LF and whether Springer can rebound offensively over the next couple of weeks.
