Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but doesn't this seem like a good way to lose credibility and trust with players? I liked Canales a lot when he was here and this just has me scratching my head.

Gruden used to do this too as I recall. Fat Mike Williams and Aaron Rodgers both thought they’d be our pick in 2005. Instead we took Cadillac Williams.
