Was this the hip he had surgery on?
I can’t believe he hasn’t had an issue since his surgery tbh, especially with the way he sacrifices his body in the field.
Kevin Kiermaier is exactly two weeks younger than me. A fact that is currently doing absolutely nothing to reassure me my body will survive the “baseball 101 for adults” summer program I’m starting in May.
Last time I joined my company’s summer intra-company softball league I played 1.5 games before promptly pulling one of my quads hard enough I missed the rest of the season. And that was back before I turned 30. (Who knew a full sprint would require a more careful approach at the age of 29 with a desk job than it did at the age of 11 when I cycled everywhere every day and did track and field 😔)

I would like to volunteer to massage his hip for him.
If this is his MLB debut, then wouldn’t the phrasing be called up instead of recalled?
