Off day question for the sub now that the names for the Utah team have been announced which do you guys like?

Genuinely not any of them. Chuck em and start again, IMO.
I like Venom, maybe because I’m partial to Venom from the comics and I think they could do a nasty jersey theme with it.
Venom and Outlaws stand out for me, but I’m not in love with any of them.
Utah Asseaters
I don’t like there being another snow mountain team (yeti etc). If I had to choose from their choices…I guess venom? They all suck thus far.
I wouldn’t say that any of them really say anything about “Utah” to me but some of them are fun. I don’t want to see Ice, Yeti, or Blizzard, feel like we have those sewn up for ourselves. Fury is totally lame. But I don’t hate Venom or Outlaws
Utah Accord to keep with the cars manufactured by Honda theme for his teams
Blizzard and Yetis are too similar to us. Outlaws and Mammoth are our lacrosse teams. The others are bad. Yikes.

Personally, I think these all suck. But they would be particularly dumb to go with a snow themed named considering we’ve already got that market covered. I said earlier today that would be like putting a team in South Carolina and calling them the Typhoons.
I like Fury. I used to be play paintball and there was a fairly high level team here in Denver by that name, so it’s a bit nostalgic for me.
They all are very bad and unoriginal.

Utah Sting and Utah Raptors are so obvious. Not sure why they didn’t go with either of those.
Considering my name and I’m a huge Avs fan, not Yetis.

I wish they chose an SLC name, like SLC Utes or Rattlers. All these choices suck.
I think raptors would be really cool considering the species that was actually named Utahraptor.
If they do blizzard we should sue.
Someone mentioned scorpions and IMO Salt Lake City Scorpions > Utah Scorpions
“Hockey Club” is the best and it’s not even close. Those are horrible.
Salt Lake Utah Transplants. (SLUTs)
Utah Prophets or Utah Paladins
White and red sweaters, Knights Templar like with cross or medieval style touches.
Would be a nice offset to Devils, Golden Knights, Kings.
Alternates could be a light blue and gold similar to King Baldwin in Kingdom Under Heaven.

Can we not do the crappy naming of soccer clubs? The Utah Anything’s is better than Hockey Club.

I live in Utah and I hate them all.
Just name them after the ownership group. The Smiths. It’d be a light that never goes out.
