The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the New Orleans Pelicans, 124-92. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with a Playoff career-high 33 points along with 5 assists as Chet Holmgren added 26 points and 7 rebounds, both career-highs in his second postseason game. Jonas Valanciunas led the Pelicans with 19 points and 7 rebounds. The Thunder lead the best-of-seven series, 2-0, with Game 3 taking place on Saturday, April 27, 3:30 PM ET, TNT.

The Thunder shot 59.0% (46-78) from the floor as the Pelicans shot 33-73 (45.2%) while OKC made 14 3PT FGs in comparison to 7 by the Pelicans.

  5. For OKC, it seems the game plan is basically give Jonas Valanciunas whatever he wants, and clamp down on everyone else.

    Seems like the plan is working extremely well, and it's odd that the Pels aren't able to adjust much. No Zion hurts, but Ingram and CJ are just not able to keep up with the production of SGA and Williams, even with help from guys like Herb Jones.

  7. SGA is proving to all the casuals that he’s not a ft merchant. 33 points on 68% shooting with only 4 free throws while being guarded by one of the best defenders in the league. Idk why people tried to push that narrative when they never watched him play.

  8. I'm an OKC fan and it's great that we're up 2-0 on them but keep in mind they're without one of the best players in the NBA in Zion who had 40 in his last game against the Lakers. Probably wouldn't have mattered in this game if he had played but it sure could have in game 1. Game 3 is going to be a war.

  9. SGA sleek. They might be able to outrun the Nuggets in the western conference finals. Only issue is the big bodies of Jokic and Gordon. OKC might not have enough ass to beat them.

Toe CHET and S.G.A is the Best paired Dynamic Duo in the League Hands down, This O.K.C TEAM, will go Deep, had well has their playing they will eventually get takin out by am Elite Team that has PLAYOFF AND CHAMPIONSHIP EXPIERENCE I BELIEVE IN ANOTHER YEAR OR 2, THEY CAN WIN THE CHIP 🏆, INJURIES IS GONN EVENTUALLY END ZION,S—-CAREER .

  23. I remember when the Thunder clinched the 1 seed, everyone came out with “first round exit”. Now, after ONLY TWO GAMES, they’ve all already mailed it in and are starting the “wait until they see a real team”. They don’t even have the conviction of their prior prediction to hold out until the Thunder win this series.
    This shows who the stupid people are.
