Huh… he hasn’t looked great to start the year maybe some rest and reset will help. Also he’s really not doing much behind Yariel right now so not a huge loss for the time being
**LHP Brendon Little (27) in AAA:**
* 9 GP, 9.1 IP, 2.89 ERA / 2.87 FIP, 3 ER, 7 H, 8 BB, 2 WP & 16 SO * .206 OBA // 1.61 WHIP // .368 BABIP * 37.2 SO% vs. 18.6 BB%
His performance in AAA has been a lot better than the face numbers even suggest.
His strikeout rate tantalizing which has never been an issue for him career wise. He has at least 1 strikeout in every single outing this season. His high strikeouts does come with control issues which is why his BB and WHIP are high.
All 3 ER he allowed were in a single outing so he has shut the door in 8-of-9 appearances. He has allowed 7 hits BUT all have beens singles. A lot of rather soft contact with the singles too. He has not allowed any Extra-Base Hits this season. That means **0 2B allowed, 0 3B allowed** and **0 HR allowed**.
He is as expected better against LHH but his splits are not so extreme that RHH should be avoided. He can go back-to-back-to-back if needed and can be pushed to pitch 2.0 innings if his pitch count isn’t too bad.
As long as he doesn’t completely lose the strike-zone he should be a good option out of the pen.
Surprised they wouldn’t bring up Espino again
What does Little’s arsenal look like?
For anyone who didnt watch in the spring, hes basically left handed clay holmes if you put him in a tilt-a-whirl for 30 seconds and told him to throw. The Power Sinker / Deathball Slider combo is absolutely electric but he’ll need some of that Pete Walker strike throwing pixie dust if he wants to stay in the big leagues
