I’m curious at how high we are trying to get. That would give us some indication on who the target might be.
Isn’t this just what Howie does every draft? He’s always calling.
I’m assuming most teams don’t have an extra 2nd rounder to give up and most teams have bigger holes than us. So of course he’s calling everywhere
I think we’ll end up trading up to either Indy, Seattle, Jacksonville spots.

This is what every GM should be doing. Knowing the prices, knowing who is willing to move off a pick, understanding the overall shape of the market. Who cares if they get a deal, they get insight into what GMs will move the pick, what GMs will stay put, what GMs are valuing their picks at etc. It’s basic stuff, but it’s so important.

Daniel Jeremiah said this is the best OT draft in a decade. I know we need a CB but I’d be perfectly happy if we trade up and take a stud Lane Johnson replacement who first can learn for a year or so under StoutGod
My pipe dream is we move up to take Alt to be Lane’s successor for the next 12 years but that’s almost entirely because I’m also an ND fan. I think we move up for Mitchell but who the hell knows

Moving up a couple picks, sure, but a big move doesn’t make sense. It will cost us one of our 2nd round pics. A 1st and a 2nd are a lot to give up for a non QB.
