[Padres] Jackson Merrill has been scratched from today’s game with right groin tightness. Tyler Wade will now play LF, José Azocar will play CF, and Eguy Rosario will play 3B
i forget the moment but I believe he ran to a base and seemed like he tweaked something. i forget but he seemed fine so i wrote it off.
Padres superstar rookies and groin injuries to disrupt a ROY campaign, name a more iconic duo.
Generally it’s a muscle strain, but I’d imagine the Padres would keep it quiet until they know for sure if it’s more serious. By the wording of the post though, I’d imagine he’ll be ok in a few days.
I’m not a doctor, but I did stay at a holiday in last night.
Luckily he’s young, should recover quickly!
