  1. I know that it makes zero sense to go for 19 and Cooper Kupp but here I am. Can an adult in the room tell me it’s a bad idea?

  2. My guess is value to move down that far would be a future 1st rounder or the Rams 2nd rounder this year plus other stuff. I think people rubbing their hands together hoping for a Will Anderson-level haul will be disappointed.

The value of a pick is a combo of who’s left on the board, historical performance of the pick slot, and historical precedent for trading up to that pick slot. It’s not just the prospect who’s available because drafting is an inexact science, even if you think a blue chip prospect is on the board. Presumed blue chippers have failed before.

  3. Trading down is so lame, I’d much rather get the best defender on the board and figure out the rest later

  4. If they trade with the rams and pick at 19, I’m all for Brian Thomas Jr. if he’s there at 19. Hopefully can pick up Renardo Green, CB out of FSU and T’Vondre Sweat, DT from Texas somewhere in this draft. Edgerrin Cooper, LB from Texas A&M would be a good pick up as well.
As for edge I would be happy with Jonah Elliss out of Utah. Wouldn’t mind Jordan Travis, QB from FSU in the later rounds. Also Like Dallin Holker, TE from Colorado State in the late rounds.

  5. Oh no! Raheem Morris is giving his old team a sweetheart deal!

JK but we should get a helluva a lot to go that far back.

  6. If we could get their 1st next year I’d do it. There will still be a good defensive player there at their pick.
