  1. Who needs an elite strikeout closer when your elite defense can just bail out whoever you put out there?

Wins a win, though. Let’s keep it going!

  2. Nothin sweeter than sweeping the Astros. Getcher brooms, guys gals and nonbinary pals.

  3. Nice to see PCA get that first hit off his back. Now relax and play your game!

    Nice sweep! On to Boston!

  4. Payback for last year

    Wonderful 3 game series

We’ve officially had a better April than last year no matter what now

  5. Get your brooms because that’s a sweep! Now PLAY THE DAMN SONG ALREADY

  6. Pca home run. You love to see it. The first of many. Let’s prove the doubters wrong.

  7. fantastic sweep with all the injuries. incredible.

I want to once again add how much I fucking HATE the brewers. so fucking much

  8. This team is exciting.

    Steele/Imanaga/Assad/Taillon/Wicks is an excellent rotation.

Love seeing Ben Brown and Wesneski succeed in the bullpen. Even though Brown could be a starter he is probably best as a closer this year.

Doing this despite injuries is awesome

  9. Lots of hero’s and great stories from this game. Under the radar, Tauchman went 1-1 with 3 walks in the 2 hole!

  10. Know it’s early and that we had a rough first half at bat, but games like today do a good job numbing the pain of knowing Seiyah, Belli, and Steele are still out.

  11. Cubs sweep/ First PCA hit

    Caleb about to be drafted.

    Let’s have a day Chicago.

  12. I know the Astros are hated these days but anyone else miss the nostalgia of us facing them on the regular back in the day?
    Good times

  13. Neris getting confidence back hopefully, wes looks good,

Swept the stros, Sox get swept.

    Chicago we party tonight

  14. It’s Christmas in April. Cubs sweep the Astros, PCA with his first hit as a homer, and we draft Caleb Williams today.

  15. So nice to see a sweep even if it’s against a struggling team. I’ll take it.

  16. 5-2 homestand, can’t expect more than that.

PCA finally got a giant weight off his shoulders, love to see it. And Assad is the real deal.

  17. Bro, Javier Assad is so underrated. Sorry babe, I’m an ASS MAN now. 💕

  18. I didn’t realize i liked Counsell so much until paying attention to his postgame interviews, dude is pretty awesome

  19. am i high or how did PCA get his first hit today? I could’ve sworn when he got called up last year he had a couple hits?
