  1. Can we not? Can we just stay and pick a blue chip talent for once? Let’s start adding legit talent to this team. It’s ready.

  2. If we trade back with Rome on the board, I will riot*

*grumble to myself on the couch but ultimately trust Poles

  3. Basically every team in the NFL is looking to make moves lol

    Tonight might be kinda crazy

  4. It makes the most sense in terms of building out the roster but man I’ll be sad if Rome or Nabers are there and we pass on them.

  5. Makes sense, it wouldn’t shock me if they want to stick and pick depending on the player but otherwise teams after us seemingly really want to move up for an OT so a top tier DL could fall. I still hope Rome or Nabers is picked if they are there, but otherwise I wouldn’t hate a trade back

  6. Given how little Rams have cared about firsts, I’d be all for trading down with them if they want to jump the Jets for Bowers and we get a future 1st. Maybe a 2nd this year is more realistic though.

No matter what the haul is, if we trade back I start praying Murphy falls to us.

  7. It would have to be an overwhelming return if we’re passing on one of the WRs

  8. I don’t like this.

There are many blue chip options that will be there at 1.09.

Can’t we just have some nice things once in awhile?

  9. I will be sad if we pass on one of the receivers (assuming theyre available at 9), but Ill understand it. Receiver isnt a pressing need and I imagine if Poles is moving back, hes going to want to recover a day 2 pick for this year.

The receiver class is deep enough for me to be ok addressing it in round 2/3.

  10. Of course they are. Everyone is ready to move, *for the right price*. if you aren’t then it isn’t the right price. Nothinburger here.

  11. Goddamn this is the only draft I’ve cared about tuning in to…but it starts in the middle of the night for me :/

  12. If the big 3 WR are off the board I’m ok with it. If Odunze is still available and they trade down I’ll cry.

  13. Yesterday the Cardinals were open for business and today they told MHJ they are picking him at 4. Nobody knows anything other than Caleb is #1

  14. If Odunze is off the board and we can slide down and still grab Murphy, Turner or an OT I’m all in. If Odunze is there it’ll sting a bit but I trust the shit out of Ryan Poles.

  15. I would take 15 and 46 from the Colts for #9. Take BPA at 15 (hopefully one of Newton, Olu or Latu) and then take the best WR left at 46. As much as I love Rome, I think that is a better draft for the team as a whole.

  16. I wouldn’t trade unless we get at least a 2nd this year back. Any lower round is just a waste.

  17. I will snort and shit a brick of coke if Odunze, Nabers, and Alt are off the board and the Bears stick and pick. Zero prospects left would be worth that pick.

  18. I’m grateful we won’t have to deal with the non-stop speculation much longer. I know everyone has their preference, but there’s almost no bad move they can make at 9. It’s just a question of which direction they want to go, and then making the corresponding moves to fill whatever holes they *didn’t* fill with 9.

  19. Important to note, McShay put out the same thing as Russini but said that if Rome/Nabers fall they could stick and pick.

  20. how about we do something crazy like stay at 9 and draft one of the top 3 WR’s please

  21. Expected, I want Rome as much as the next guy, but picking up another top 100 pick is the right move.

  22. Honestly, I’m kind of hoping someone in the 10-13 range is batshit crazy enough to overpay to move up to 9 to grab Penix or Nix thinking one of the others in the 10-13 range is going to grab them.
