I’m not sure if 2 championships including one that was won with blatant cheating is a dynasty. Going to the ALCS so often is nice but they could’ve won a lot more AND not cheated to win what they did.

The 2024 Astros are reminding me off the 2012 Phillies when a great run came crashing down entirely. Like the Phillies at that time, the Astros don’t have too much on the farm coming up either. They should trade Bregman and Tucker (and whoever else they can unload) for top prospects. Otherwise, it’ll be a long, hard road back to relevance…
From Sep 10 onwards they were 14-15 including postseason… in games where every game was must win. This team has been bad since last September but a sample of 4 games (ALDS) was enough to forget about these not-so-new struggles.
It’s not fucking over dude. That team being the 2nd worst in the AL is laughable. They will certainly be in the playoffs.
I hate Astros, but I think they can turn this around. They have good players at many positions and several aces. Lots of things can happen in the next 5 months.
They were cheaters and they will stay cheaters. Fair or not, people won’t forget that.
