  13. I’m not going to lie, I would trade the Panthers pick and our 4th to move up into the 2nd and jump on JPJ….but I’m also not a GM.

    Edit- that might be an overpay but the point is I would trade up for JPJ.

  20. If JPJ doesn’t go round 1, please Poles go for JPJ. Man imagine if in only 3 selections the bears get their franchise QB, Future WR1, and Franchise C? That would be the draft of the century for us.

  26. Wait why are the panthers trading up one spot here in exchange for swapping a 5th to a 6th? Unless the Bills were gunna take Legette I don’t get why they wouldn’t just wait.

  29. So much really good defensive talent on the board. I’d be fine with trading next years 1st for an early 2nd. I don’t think it’s close. And we now have no glaring needs.

  30. Man a lot of people in this sub told me Ladd was the WR4 and was a guaranteed 1st round pick. Hmmmmm. Wonder where they are now?

  36. So now that Round 1 is over, I vote we trade up into Round 2 for either Newton or JPJ. Next year’s 2nd and this year’s 3rd?

    We could walk away from this draft with three Week 1 starters.

    When I saw that video of Caleb saying “WE got our guy” wow. This dude is a Bear. He’s all in and so am I.

  47. Rumor: The Vikings tried to trade up to 5 (Chargers) to get Nabers. JJ is gonna leave.

  48. Looking at this team:

    Secondary- A+

    Linebackers- A

    Edge- B-  Montez is great, we just need an edge opposite of him. Walker would be great depth at edge and 3T

    DT- B-  Billings was underrated as a run stopper and Gervon improved over the course of the season. Pickens wasn’t spectacular in depth role. But there is hope that last years rooks can level up. 

    QB- Caleb

    RB- A-

    WR- A+

    TE- A

    OT- B+ with room to grow

    OG- B+

    C- ?

    K- A

    P- C-

    LS- A+

    PR/KR- ?

    We all of a sudden find ourselves with a good team. We have money to address a couple of these areas with free agents. Draft a lineman in the third. And don’t laugh… I’d consider drafting the Iowa punter in the 4th.
