It should have been Nabers, have they not seen what Burrow and Chase could do with a bad o line?
Everyone be nice this man is going to protect our most important player
A LT, too bad we couldn’t trade back for Fuaga if we wanted O Line
Shoulda been nabers

Great pick despite what many brain dead Chargers fans think
Two All pro level tackles lets ride. We’ll obviously probably get a WR in the next round in a pretty deep wr class
I get it… but like…. Who is Herbert throwing to?
Love this pick! Coaching staff building something great!
This coaching staff watched all the film from last year, every single play, every angle, every player etc. and clearly thought (and rightly so) our offensive line is a sub par offensive line. I am 100% fine with this pick. Build an elite offensive line and will elevate the play of everyone
woohoo herbert will have a few extra seconds now before he gets sacked because his receivers cant get open or before he throws an incompletion
Au revoir Pipkins
I’m fine with it as long as we take a receiver at 37, although I think it would’ve been better to get nabers and go o line at 37
So who’s playing right side and who’s playing left with Slater already at LT?? At least we don’t need to worry about Maxx Crosby absolutely having his way with our RT anymore though
None of our receivers are gonna get separation next year.
To all the people that complained and downvoted anyone suggesting this, just be happy. He’s a great player.
So are we 100% sure Sater won’t move to RT
🙄
Isn’t it a good idea to take a wide receiver who’s special because you don’t have to pay them crazy wr money until their 5th year?
QJ and Palmer? What is the front office smoking?
I just don’t get it. Why not trade back then??
Not JC LATHAM upvote party
This sub is giving me 2020 vibes from the Herbert pick lmfao
Can’t wait for every team we play against this year stack the box cuz they know a run is coming
This year is gonna be a soft rebuild, I’m trusting the process. Herbert being upright is so important, he’s been injured significantly the last two seasons.
I don’t hate Alt at all as a player. I’m confident he’s gonna be exceptional in our o-line! Really excited to see him out there!
That being said, I can’t say I’m happy with taking an OT at five. The value just wasn’t there. Nabers would’ve been a better pick for us at that spot in my opinion.
I am curious as to what went down during the phone calls the Chargers had to have had with New York, and especially Minnesota. Seeing as a trade didn’t happen.
I’m also far from an expert! If Hortiz and Harbaugh think this is the move, then by all means! They know way more than I ever will. Harbaugh’s coming straight out of college, which will give us an edge drafting players as Harbaugh’s gonna know more about them than other coaches, and GM’s

Better than Latham. Sad it wasn’t Nabers.
Seems like a real lunchpail, gymrat guy

Welcome, Joe.
Go and prove everyone why choosing you over a WR was the correct decision.
I think he’s a great player just wish we coulda traded down to 9 or so with another pick to grab him
Big Boy football I love it, alot of couch GMs in here ready to build soft teams geared up for a wildcard exit
fuck now we have to hate bowers
Guys, we had Mike Williams and Keenan Allen.. and where did that get us? Great fucking guys but like.. it needs to be different.
WRs are a dime a dozen. You can find them later in the draft or in agency or whatever. OTs are gold
I really wanted Nabers but we gotta protect Herbert.
