Looking at the shift matchups, the Denault line + Roy & Gav were by far the most frequent line (~70% even strength) vs McDavid causing him to go -1 on the evening and only getting one assist on a powerplay vs a different line. MVP line in my opinion. I am perfectly happy with Moore's "lack of production" if they can continue to do this.

Moore felt invisible last night but it definitely could have been because his line was being primarily deployed in defensive situations. I am also okay with zero Moore points if his line keeps McDavid’s numbers down
This is a really cool charting format
i thought i was looking at gel electrophoresis
getting the last change at home means we can definitely keep this going. you just knew danault’s line wasn’t going to give up 3 goals to mcdavid’s line again.
I think beating EDM is about shutting down McDavid and capitalizing on their mistakes. Danault definitely does the first, but I think we would see more of the second if Fiala was back on that line. I love Arvi but Fiala/Moore/Danault has so much synergy.
What a great signing he was
Wouldn’t be the first time he did it, either
Way to Gault Danault!
Did you make this? Really insightful, thanks for sharing OP.
I was wondering when grunner got his :25 TOI
