Worth it for the 5th year option. Now let’s hope he’s worth picking up the 5th year option on

If we we’re that high on Legette vs AD and we thought Buffalo was going to pick him, that’s basically a free trade.
Not a fan of the massive value lost with this move. A team that has whiffed on like 4 WRs in a row has bigger concerns than a 5th year option. Stop throwing draft capital away for hubris!
And I don’t think any other team had Legette rated that high. With AD Mitchell, Keon Coleman, and Ladd MacConkey still on the board, sure feels like he’d still be there at 39.
They could have also been worried about another team trading up with Buffalo.
Meh Legette likely would have been there at 33. So really we moved down 60 picks from 140 to 200 just to secure the 5th year team option on Legette. Is that worth? For as talent deficient as we are I think I’d rather just take another stab at 140
I think we get ladd if we double drip
It’s a relatively small price to pay but lol @ all the Panther fans who are like, “Seriously guys, THIS TIME trading up will work out for us.”

Dude will be pushing 29 by the end of his 5th year option. I really hope he pans out. I’m excited but man I wish we went Mitchell. Here’s to hoping he shuts me up.
