  1. It’s not that he’s injury prone. It’s that he is a risk for one very serious career ending injury. With that said I like the pick. But I also get the concern.

  2. Injury prone seems like a generous term for a guy who missed 2 years with a neck injury and apparently had to medically retire at some point.

  3. Social media colts fans are collectively 12 years old. We shoulda done better raising smart colts fans. We failed.

  4. Still no corners off the board too, can easily trade up for a starting caliber DB

  5. As a Colts fan I hope he stays healthy, that being said he better get to the QB because our secondary is garbage and we’ve done nothing to improve it. Good thing is (as of pick 18) there are still a lot of DBs available so here’s hoping

  6. It isn’t a typical injury. The neck is it’s own beast and probably right with concussions in terms of having a host and being fucked. Look up Leighton Vander Esch

We aren’t good enough to be making risky picks

  7. People hate Ballard so much that when a gift falls in his lap, and he doesn’t overthink it and get cute, they get upset. Dude can’t win with this fanbase

  8. I don’t mind the pick but we should have gone with the safer pick with Dallas Turner

  9. The concern is that ballard has already invested a ton at pass rush and shown no ability to judge the position. Besides, we need CB and WR help more than DL help.
